Why did you want to undergo breast augmentation?
I was unhappy with the size of my breasts and felt really unconfident. I always felt like having bigger breasts would help out, I wanted to have larger breasts to feel more confident in my appearance.

What size implants did you get?
470 CC partially placed under muscle. When I came in for a consultation the doctors had me try on different size implants and asked what size bra I wanted to wear to get an idea of what size implant would help me achieve the breasts I wanted. I really wanted to have a D cup bra size, that was the goal! And I got there, I’m really happy with the size.

What was the day of surgery like?
I didn’t like the anesthesia, but I knew ahead of time that would be one of the hardest parts for me. Surgery didn’t take long, about 2 hours.

What was the recovery like?
At first it was a little tough to get used to the tightness of the bandages and the new chest but by day two I felt much better, just a little tired. Every day that passed everything felt so much more normal.

How long did it take for you to feel normal again?
After about a couple weeks I felt much more myself, but I did experience sensitivity in my right nipple which Dr. Bruno said would go away, and it did fade away. Even in the beginning I could do normal stuff, but I’m such an active person and it was really easy to get fatigued in the beginning and I would feel my breasts get tense. Every day was a little better. I feel that even though you have to go back to your normal life as much as you can and as soon as you can, you need to rest as much as possible and let yourself heal.

Knowing what you know now, would you undergo the procedure again?
Absolutely! Never, not even in my worst moments, did I ever, ever regret it for a second. It’s something I’ve always wanted and I’m SO HAPPY with the size and the way it looks. It’s exactly what I hoped for.
